Applicants should hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:

A first-class honors degree or equivalent is strongly encouraged.

Job Description

The selected candidate will undertake the following research activities:

  • Conduct a literature review on wastewater heat recovery.
  • Assess available wastewater heat resources in the Australian food sector.
  • Develop CFD models for regional wastewater heat recovery assessments.
  • Design and evaluate heat exchanger and heat pump systems utilizing wastewater heat.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to develop practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Perform field measurements and analysis for applied research.

Funding: $35,888 AUD per year for 3 years.
