Eligibility/Qualification
- Minimum of a relevant master’s degree in biology or a related field.
- Essential experience in parasitology and laboratory experiments.
- Familiarity with fieldwork in coastal regions, preferably Arctic or temperate areas.
- Valid driver’s license in Denmark.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis with software (e.g., R, PRIMER-e, Python).
- Good oral and written English skills; proficiency in Danish or Greenlandic is an advantage.
Description
The PhD project consists of assessing the sensitivity of Arctic benthic species to multiple stressors, examining the effects of climate change, and determining species resilience. Fieldwork in Greenland will be included along with laboratory experiments at Aarhus University. The successful candidate will also contribute to interdisciplinary discussions and public outreach.
