Description: Organic electronic devices leverage organic or organic-inorganic hybrid materials; however, electrodes are often pure metals due to their superior electronic conductivity. Understanding the interface between polymers and metals is crucial for optimizing device performance. This project focuses on employing advanced sputter deposition techniques to investigate electrode formation in organic solar cells. Collaborating with the University of Kiel and DESY Hamburg, we aim to correlate sputter parameters with electrode morphology and solar cell performance.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should email Prof. Peter Müller-Buschbaum (muellerb@ph.tum.de) with the following documents:

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. Statement of Purpose (max. 2 pages)
  3. Academic Transcripts
  4. Contact details of two referees

Last Date for Application: Rolling applications until the position is filled. Early applications are encouraged.
