Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Synthesize iron complexes in the zero-oxidation state directly from scrap carbon steel.
- Develop these complexes as single-source precursors of iron for cross-coupling catalysts.
- Contribute to replacing palladium in industrially relevant catalytic transformations.
- Receive one-to-one mentorship and training from the supervisor.
- Have access to state-of-the-art equipment.
- Have opportunities to mentor undergraduate and master’s students.
