Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry
  • Experience in Schlenk techniques, dry-box handling, and spectroscopic characterization of organic and organometallic compounds is highly appreciated.
  • Strong motivation and previous research experience in catalysis will be beneficial.

Job Description:

The PhD candidate will work on designing and developing catalysts, particularly focusing on Earth-abundant metals for oxygen evolution and reduction reactions. The project emphasizes understanding chemical reaction mechanisms and creating innovative catalytic solutions. Additionally, the student will have the opportunity to develop new metal-oxygen complexes for selective oxy-functionalization reactions.
