Eligibility/Qualification

Candidates should ideally possess:

  • A minimum of an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in a STEM-based subject such as:
  • Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Material Science, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Synthetic Biology, Computational Biology/Chemistry, or closely related fields.
  • A combination of a 3-year undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline along with a master’s degree and/or industry experience may also be acceptable.

Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in any element) is required. Alternative qualifications are accepted.

Description

Successful candidates will engage in cutting-edge research addressing the challenges of sustainable chemical manufacturing. The PhD projects will develop innovation skills and drive technologies necessary for sustainable practices in line with Net-Zero goals.
