Eligibility / Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Life Science (preferably Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, or Computational Systems Biology).
- Required experience in NGS data or single-cell sequencing analysis.
- Advantageous: Knowledge in adipose tissue biology, cell culture, or mouse physiology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Job Description:
The PhD project will explore how individual responses to obesity and type 2 diabetes within human adipose tissue contribute to metabolic complications. Utilizing single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, the project aims to map cellular heterogeneity and tissue organization. The candidate will collaborate with a highly interdisciplinary team, integrating genetic profiling and conducting mechanistic follow-up studies.
