Research Area

  • Willingness to travel for a 2-3 month research stay.

Description

The PhD candidate will engage in a 3-year research project investigating how microbes react to habitat restoration in peatlands. Responsibilities include conducting sampling, utilizing metagenomics and metatranscriptomics techniques, and contributing to the development of tools for predicting restoration success. The role is anchored in a collaborative environment with approximately 50 scientists at the Center for Microbial Communities.
