Job Description:

PhD Student and Post-Doc Positions in Molecular & Cellular Dynamics in Plant Reproduction

The Kawashima Lab investigates the dynamics of plant fertilization (sperm nuclear migration) and embryo/endosperm/seed development using Arabidopsis, soybean, hemp, and Marchantia. Our research integrates basic molecular biology, confocal microscopy, quantitative image data analysis, and genomics. Additionally, we actively collaborate with computer scientists and engineering scientists to gain insights into plant reproduction through computer simulations and physics perspectives.
