Job Description: The research project aims to decipher the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the regulation of calcium flux in mouse and human B cells by vitamin K-dependent proteins, particularly focusing on the endoplasmic reticulum Gia protein (ERGP). The project will involve utilizing various techniques including BiolD, FRET, Ca? imaging, CRISP/Cas9 gene-editing, and mouse genetics. Pre-clinical studies will also be conducted to explore the potential therapeutic role of vitamin K in diabetes. Furthermore, several other vitamin K-dependent proteins in B cells will be characterized.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their CV and motivation letters to Dr. Mathieu Ferron at mathieu.ferron@irem.qc.ca.
