Job Description:
As a PhD student in the Biochemistry of Signal Dynamics group, you will contribute to reconstituting the initiation of autophagy using purified proteins. Your research will focus on understanding the role of protein metamorphosis in autophagy initiation, combining techniques such as X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, and biochemical and cell biological methods. Collaborating with international research groups, you will work in a stimulating, interdisciplinary environment to advance our understanding of cellular housekeeping mechanisms.
