Eligibility/Qualification

- Strong interest in developmental, stem cell, and cancer biology
- Experience or affinity with WNT signaling and mammary gland biology
- Intrinsic motivation for fundamental research
- Willingness to work with mice and supervise BSc/MSc students
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Description
The selected PhD candidate will:
- Collaborate with a bioinformatician to refine a multi-gene signature for breast cancer patient stratification.
- Conduct experimental research using various biochemical and molecular techniques to investigate the therapeutic modulation of the WNT/CTNNB1 pathway.
- Present findings at national and international meetings and contribute to science communication and outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and defend a PhD thesis within four years
- Conduct experiments systematically and meticulously document progress
- Assist in teaching responsibilities for undergraduate and master students
- Participate in the Faculty of Science PhD training program
