Study Area

The PhD project is at the intersection of catalysis, materials synthesis, mechanistic investigations, and application to late-stage functionalizations. Scholarship Description

The scholarship includes a fixed-term employment as a doctoral student, following the regulations of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100). The initial contract is for one year, renewable for up to two years at a time, for a total of up to four years. The position requires a focus on doctoral education but may include teaching, research, and administrative duties up to 20%.


To be eligible, applicants must meet both general and specific entry requirements:

  • General Requirements: Completion of a second-cycle degree or equivalent, with at least 240 higher education credits, of which 60 must be in the second cycle.
  • Specific Requirements: A MSc thesis (at least 30 ECTS) or equivalent in organic chemistry.
