Description
The selected candidate will engage in research focused on:
- Learning robot behaviors for effective collaboration with humans in large piece manufacturing.
- Exploring human-robot interaction dynamics, including interaction scenarios and human status monitoring.
- Utilizing motion capturing and computer vision technologies to enhance data collection and integration into digital twins for adaptive policy learning.
Policies developed during this research should:
- Be easy to teach to non-experts.
- Ensure safety and friendliness toward human collaborators.
- Maintain adaptability and accuracy, minimizing the need for real-world trials when transitioning from simulations.
