Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences, preferably in chemical or process engineering, physics, chemistry, or related disciplines with above-average grades.
  • Strong interest in theoretical and experimental work in reaction engineering and chemical analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of chemical engineering laboratory work and model-based simulations is advantageous.

Description

The role involves:

  • Conducting electrochemical and analytical experiments to analyze reaction activity/selectivity relating to catalyst structures, environments, and reactor designs.
  • Simulating reaction mechanisms and transport phenomena to enhance selectivity toward hydrogenated N-forms.
  • Detailed modeling, simulation, and optimization of electrochemical reactors using tools like Matlab and/or Python.
