Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A Master’s degree in Robotics & AI, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a specialization in robotics, systems & control engineering, mechatronics, etc.
  • MSc students who will complete their degree before 1st July 2025 are welcome to apply.
  • Strong background in multi-body dynamics and optimal control theory.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.

Job Description:
You will engage in both theoretical and applied research, focusing on the development of algorithms for dynamics and control of legged robots and other multi-body systems. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting independent research to develop and test new computational algorithms.
  • Implementing and testing these algorithms both in simulation and on real robotic systems.
  • Communicating research findings through publications, presentations, and reports.
  • Collaborating with researchers within the Division of Dynamics and other related research groups at Chalmers.
  • Teaching or assisting with departmental duties (corresponding to 20% of the working hours).
