Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc degree in Biological Sciences.
- Strong background in immunology and/or vascular biology.
- Expertise in any of the following areas:
- Flow cytometry-based phenotyping and sorting.
- Immunofluorescence microscopy and histopathological evaluation.
- Statistical programming languages like R or Python.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training programs.
Job Description
- Design and conduct experiments using advanced techniques like animal models of infection and atherosclerosis.
- Perform flow cytometric analysis, immunohistological staining, and biochemical assays.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to analyze and integrate research findings into models of atherosclerosis pathophysiology.
- Prepare high-quality publications, presentations, and reports summarizing experimental results.
- Actively participate in departmental seminars, workshops, and conferences.
