Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or related fields.
  • Strong background in digital communications, machine learning, and mathematics.
  • Knowledge of digital communication systems and signal processing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Independent, curious, and creative.

Job Description:

PhD Student in Machine Learning for Information/Communication Technology

  • Perform cutting-edge research, formulate research questions, and develop strategies for solving them.
  • Develop scientific concepts and communicate research results in major journals and conferences.
  • Teach at the undergraduate and M.Sc. level, with other departmental duties up to 20% full time.
  • Contract terms: Full-time temporary employment, limited to a maximum of five years.
