Description

The selected candidate will contribute to the EnLightEn project, which studies non-isolated archaea that produce and degrade methane. Responsibilities include:

  • Sampling and preparing microbial biomass
  • Characterizing biomass contents using microscopy and ‘omics’ techniques
  • Extracting and purifying proteins involved in catabolic processes
  • Analyzing data to elucidate reaction mechanisms
  • Presenting findings in scientific articles
