Description
The selected candidate will contribute to the EnLightEn project, which studies non-isolated archaea that produce and degrade methane. Responsibilities include:
- Sampling and preparing microbial biomass
- Characterizing biomass contents using microscopy and ‘omics’ techniques
- Extracting and purifying proteins involved in catabolic processes
- Analyzing data to elucidate reaction mechanisms
- Presenting findings in scientific articles
