Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completion of a second-cycle degree or equivalent knowledge.
  • A completed university degree at an advanced level, with at least 240 credits of university education.
  • At least 120 credits at the bachelor level in molecular biology, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of advanced-level courses in molecular biosciences or equivalent subjects.
  • Capacity to benefit from the training, demonstrated through relevant knowledge, language proficiency in both Swedish and English, analytical thinking, collaboration skills, creativity, initiative, and independence.

Description: The selected candidate will work in the laboratory led by Dr. Patrick Bryant on a project focused on developing AI tools for the evaluation and design of molecular interactions. This research will primarily involve the analysis of 3D structures of proteins, DNA, RNA, and pharmaceuticals, and predicting interactions between them. The role will require the development of machine learning tools and innovative molecular representations. The tools created will undergo rigorous testing in laboratory settings with the goal of advancing pharmaceutical research and drug repurposing.
