Eligibility/Qualification
- General Entry Requirements:
- Completion of a second-cycle degree, or
- Courses equivalent to at least 240 higher education credits, including at least 60 credits in the second cycle, or
- Equivalent knowledge acquired in Sweden or elsewhere.
- Specific Entry Requirements:
- As outlined in the general syllabus for doctoral studies in the Molecular Biosciences field.
Job Description
This PhD position is funded by the Swedish Research Council and focuses on experimental research regarding aging mechanisms using C. elegans and human cell cultures. The work includes:
- Utilizing genetic, molecular biology, and biochemical techniques.
- Implementing microscopy and next-generation sequencing methods such as mRNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and ATAC-seq.
- Collaborating within a well-established research environment, contributing to innovative scientific understanding of aging processes.
