Eligibility/Qualification:

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in neuroscience, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with histological analysis, confocal microscopy, RNA processing, and analysis.
  • Preferable experience with mouse experimentation (Article 9 license or equivalent) and (iPSC) cell culture.
  • Interest in developing coding skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong interest in collaborative research.

Job Description:
The project “Unlock the early-life pathological imprinting of Alzheimer’s disease via lifestyle” involves studying the cellular and molecular effects of early-life dietary and microbial components, physical exercise, and cognitive training on Alzheimer’s disease development. The research will utilize mouse models, human iPSC cultures, and postmortem human brain tissues. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, international environment, with opportunities for mentorship, training, and collaboration with experts from various fields.

Terms of Employment:

  • Salary range: € 2,770 – € 3,539 per month.
