PhD Student in Polish Academy of Sciences,: The Institute of Organic Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences is seeking a motivated candidate for the position of PhD Student. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of palladium-catalyzed cascade reactions forming polycyclic nitrogen-containing structures. The project aims to design and optimize these catalytic reactions, including enantioselective processes with chiral ligands.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry
- PhD student status at the Warsaw PhD School in Natural and BioMedical Sciences (interviews held from 24.01-01.02.2024; deadline for submitting documents to the doctoral school is January 4th, 2024)
Job Description: The PhD Student will engage in multi-step syntheses of precursors for Pd-catalyzed cascade reactions, optimization of cascade reactions, spectroscopic and HPLC analysis of products, and preparation of results for publication.
