PhD Student – Lipids Platform Scholarship at VTT
As a PhD student at VTT, you will have the opportunity to conduct impactful research in the Lipids Platform, a core technology benefiting industries from food to pharma and fuel. The role encompasses utilizing cutting-edge synthetic biology tools, analytical methods, and cultivation technologies. The emphasis is on fungal metabolism and physiology in the context of surfactant production.
Eligibility: Prospective candidates should hold an MSc in relevant fields such as biochemistry, genetics, or microbiology. Strong laboratory skills and experience in molecular biology, along with proficiency in English, are essential.
