Eligibility/Qualification:

  • MSc degree specializing in (Molecular) Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bio(physics), Systems Biology, or a related field
  • Experience working in a microbiological or biochemical laboratory
  • Strong interest in metabolism, high-throughput microbiological technologies, and pathway analysis
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and writing skills
  • Good team worker

Job Description:

As a PHD STUDENT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and execute experiments in molecular microbiology, omics technologies, systems biology, and bioinformatics
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation
  • Present scientific findings internally and at scientific meetings
  • Write scientific publications leading to a dissertation
  • Supervise bachelor and master students
  • Teach students
