PhD Student – Plant Biology: The Research Group of Karel Riha (https://rihalab.ceitec.cz/) at CEITEC MU is inviting applications for a motivated PhD candidate to engage in cutting-edge research in plant biology. Two exciting topics are offered for exploration: 1) Centromeres in Plant Adaptation to Heat Stress, and 2) RNA-Protein Condensates in Plant Reproduction and Stress Response. The projects will involve a multidisciplinary approach, integrating cell biology, genetics, and bioinformatics, with a focus on the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and applications in crops.

Eligibility/Qualification:
