Eligibility/Qualification
General Eligibility Requirements:
- A master’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Completed courses comprising at least 240 credits, with at least 60 credits at the advanced/master level.
- Equivalent knowledge acquired through other means may also be accepted.
Specific Eligibility Requirements:
- Proficiency in English equivalent to the course English B/English 6 at Swedish upper secondary school.
Job Description
The PhD project focuses on:
- Studying amyloid formation in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
- Investigating the mechanisms of Tau protein aggregation and the role of molecular chaperones like the BRICHOS domain.
- Performing cutting-edge research, analyzing data, and contributing to new therapeutic strategies against neurodegenerative diseases.
- Engaging in courses (60 credits) related to the research topic, supervising undergraduate students, and attending international scientific conferences.
