Research Area
The research focusses on understanding the interactions between biofilm formation and tissue mechanics in wound environments using advanced methodologies such as Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) and bioengineering techniques to develop diagnostic platforms for monitoring infections.

Eligibility/Qualification
- A Masterโs degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related disciplines.
- Experience in extracellular matrix models or biofilm research is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English (required) and good communication skills.
- Candidates from English-speaking countries or with qualifications in English may be exempt from the language test requirement.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Investigate the influence of physical and biochemical properties on biofilm progression.
- Develop extracellular matrix models that replicate wound conditions.
- Integrate nanomaterials and optical sensing methods to monitor biofilm dynamics.
- Collaborate with international research teams and visit partner laboratories.
