PhD Student Position in Molecular Engineering: Join the UMR7199 Team “Ion Channel Engineering” led by Thomas Grutter at the Université de Strasbourg, a part of the Deutsch-Französische Hochschule (DFH) Excellence University. We are seeking a motivated PhD student to contribute to the molecular engineering of PIEZO channels—a family of mechanically-activated ion channels involved in touch sensation and blood pressure regulation. The project involves developing innovative biophysical methodologies for studying PIEZO function in native systems using various experimental techniques from chemical biology, molecular biology, biophysics, cell biology, and physiology.

Job Description:

PhD Student Position in Molecular Engineering of PIEZO Channels
