Scholarship Description: The Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, invites applications for a PhD student position in the Laboratory of Neuroimaging and Innovative Molecular Tracers. This position involves studying the pathological mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease using molecular imaging techniques. The successful candidate will be part of an internationally recognized team focusing on identifying biomarkers and therapeutic targets to combat Alzheimer’s disease progression.
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in neuroscience, biology, medicine, psychology, computer science, or related fields.
- Strong interest in Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Basic statistical skills (e.g., R, SPSS, MATLAB) and experience with imaging analysis software (e.g., SPM, FSL) are advantageous.
- Exceptional motivation and commitment to conducting research in Alzheimer’s disease.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (B2 level).
