Eligibility/Qualification

  • Must have a master’s degree with at least 240 higher education credits in Medical Biotechnology, Biomedicine, or Applied Chemistry.
  • Laboratory experience in fungal biotechnology or microbial medicine is meritorious.
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Job Description

  • Engage in pioneering research on fungal-based molecules with potential health benefits.
  • Develop and characterize fungal-based molecules to improve diagnostics and therapeutics for fungal infections.
  • Work independently to plan, run experiments, and evaluate scientific outcomes.
  • Communicate results in various settings, including group and division meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Develop scientific writing skills through the preparation of articles for publication in high-impact journals.
  • Contribute to teaching and supervision of undergraduate students.
  • Collaborate closely with groups at Stockholm University, KTH, and SciLifeLab in Stockholm.
