Eligibility/Qualification
- Must have a master’s degree with at least 240 higher education credits in Medical Biotechnology, Biomedicine, or Applied Chemistry.
- Laboratory experience in fungal biotechnology or microbial medicine is meritorious.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Job Description
- Engage in pioneering research on fungal-based molecules with potential health benefits.
- Develop and characterize fungal-based molecules to improve diagnostics and therapeutics for fungal infections.
- Work independently to plan, run experiments, and evaluate scientific outcomes.
- Communicate results in various settings, including group and division meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Develop scientific writing skills through the preparation of articles for publication in high-impact journals.
- Contribute to teaching and supervision of undergraduate students.
- Collaborate closely with groups at Stockholm University, KTH, and SciLifeLab in Stockholm.
