Eligibility/Qualification
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience with DFT software (VASP, Quantum ESPRESSO, etc.).
- Familiarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments is a plus.
- Prior experience in CO₂ capture research or a related area is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with autonomy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
Job Description
- Investigate the structural, electronic, and adsorption properties of functionalized mesoporous materials.
- Use DFT, AIMD, and multiscale modeling techniques to study CO₂ adsorption mechanisms and optimize material designs.
- Collaborate with experimental researchers to compare simulation results with XPS, IR, and Raman spectroscopy data.
- Prepare technical reports, research publications, and presentations for team meetings and conferences.
