Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD Students: No GRE requirement for admission, applicants from various backgrounds (biology, ecology, statistics, computer science, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
  • Postdoc Researcher: Strong background in data science, machine learning, or related field. Experience with image analysis and software development preferred.

Job Description:

  • PhD Students: Explore how environmental changes like climate change and urbanization impact biodiversity and phenology. Guaranteed funding for up to 6 years. Develop and conduct research projects aligned with lab interests.
  • Postdoc Researcher: Develop machine learning methods to extract phenological information from images. Build software to integrate phenological data into a central database. More details available at link.
