AI-Enabled Subsystem-Level Condition Monitoring in Fusion Remote Maintenance – PhD Studentship

Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • First-class honours degree in AI, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in AI-related research and applications.
  • Strong programming and software development skills.
  • Knowledge of signal processing is advantageous.

Job Description: The successful candidate will work within the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department at Brunel University London. They will be involved in developing AI models for subsystem-level condition monitoring in Fusion Remote Maintenance Systems. The student will collaborate with research mentors focusing on Green AI, Trustworthy AI, and Real-world AI applications.
