PhD Studentship in Artificial Intelligence within Public Health Research

Location: Wildau, Robert Koch Institute, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates should possess a completed scientific university degree (master’s degree or state examination) in a relevant field, such as information technology, science, medicine, or public health. Proficiency in quantitative data analysis, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), and language skills (English at least C1, C2 preferred; German at least A2 or the willingness to acquire further language skills) is required. Experience in coordinating or managing scientific projects and knowledge of public health research are desirable.
Description: The selected candidates will work part-time with 25.35 hours per week (65% of a full-time position), with the remaining time allocated for PhD research. The roles involve conducting independent research in AI, handling complex data, developing algorithms, and ensuring the quality of work. Research results will be presented at national and international conferences, and scientific publications will be produced. Specific topics for research projects can be found on the ZKI-PH website.
