  • First or upper second (2.1) honors degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics, materials science, or related discipline.
  • Experience in theoretical/computational chemistry, numerical simulations, and/or materials science.
  • Basic programming skills are desirable.

Job Description: The successful candidate will investigate the chemistry of Graphene-Based Materials (GBMs) for carbocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and hybrid electrode materials. Working closely with the Computational Carbon Chemistry group, the research involves multiscale materials modeling and collaboration with team members focusing on various functional organic materials. The candidate will receive comprehensive training in computational chemistry techniques and gain expertise in the field of graphene-based materials. Additionally, training in transferable skills will be provided.
