Eligibility/Qualification

- English Language Requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall (5.5+ in each component) or equivalent.

Description
This groundbreaking PhD project focuses on developing next-generation wide-bandgap semiconductors, particularly Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN), with emphasis on innovative power electronics. Students will engage in advanced characterization techniques to analyze structure-property relationships and the growth of emerging semiconductor materials based on Gallium Oxide (Ga2O3) using state-of-the-art facilities. The project is associated with the UK Semiconductor Industry Future Skills initiative, offering a vibrant, multi-disciplinary experience alongside collaborations with industry partners.
