PhD Studentships- Evaluation Centre: The Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is offering two full-time MPhil/PhD Studentships starting in October 2024. The positions are affiliated with the Department of Health Policy and involve research in areas such as adult social care in England and the evaluation of integration in health and social care. These studentships are part of the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Adult Social Care (ASCRU) and the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Economics of Social and Health Care (ESHCRU).

Location: London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Health Policy, UK

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree marks equivalent to an LSE high merit grade.
  • Overall average of at least 65% in MSc (or equivalent) and at least 65% in the dissertation (or equivalent).
  • Applicants should meet the requirements for PhD applicants set by LSE.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research in the specified areas of adult social care in England or evaluation of integration in health and social care.
  • Work closely with supervisors and colleagues in CPEC at LSE.
  • Contribute to the academic environment at LSE and engage in the multidisciplinary perspectives of the Health Policy department.
