PhD Studentships in Disease Modelling: The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), in collaboration with Imperial College London and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), invites applications for two PhD studentships focused on real-time infectious disease modelling as part of the NIHR-funded Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) on Health Analytics, Epidemic Modelling, and Health Economics. The PhD candidates will be immersed in an interdisciplinary research environment dedicated to addressing infectious disease challenges.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Applicants must hold, or expect to obtain before the start of the PhD, a relevant Master’s Degree with good grades.
  • A combination of relevant qualifications and experience demonstrating equivalent ability may also be considered.
  • Applicants must meet the criteria for home fees as defined by LSHTM’s Fee Assessment Policy and UK Government regulations.
