Study Area: Advanced Materials – Focus on “Neuromorphic devices based on oxidation-conversion of van-der-Waals semiconductors.”
Scholarship Description: The project explores neuromorphic systems inspired by the human brain, utilizing 2D materials for novel approaches to computing. The research, led by the NanoElectronic Devices Group, involves the synthesis of ultra-thin insulators and semiconductor-dielectric interfaces through the chemical conversion of 2D materials, enabling precise assembly of nanodevices.
Eligibility: Candidates with a first-class honours undergraduate degree or postgraduate master’s qualification in electronic engineering, physics, nanotechnology, computer science, or related disciplines are invited to apply.
Required Documents:
- Completed Application Form (Parts A, B, C)
- Official Grade Transcripts
- Diversity Monitoring Data (optional)
How to Apply:
- Part A: Complete the form collecting personal data and referee details.
- Part B: Complete the online template, providing information on transcripts, work experience, and research projects.
