Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Honors (First Class) or MSc degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline.
  • Essential research experience in:
    • Synthetic/Medicinal Chemistry, including compound design and characterization.
    • Cell and Molecular Biology or Immunology.
  • Preferred experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics or transcription factor biology (training will be provided if not present).
  • Skills in analytical thinking, data analysis, and critical problem-solving.
  • Proven commitment to high-quality research and publication.
  • Strong time management, independence, teamwork, and communication skills (proficiency in English required).

Job Description:

  • Conduct independent research, including molecule synthesis, cell-based assays, and proteomics sample preparation.
  • Participate in lab meetings, departmental discussions, and external conferences.
  • Contribute to manuscript writing, grant applications, and supervise BSc/MSc internships.
  • Assist in teaching laboratory classes.
  • Complete training in scientific and transferrable skills, fulfilling PhD criteria within 4 years.

Terms of Employment:

  • Initial 12-month contract, extendable by 3 years upon satisfactory performance.
  • Salary: €2,770–€3,539 per month (gross).
