Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Honors (first class) or MSc degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
  • Research experience in synthetic/medicinal chemistry, compound design, and characterization (essential)
  • Background in cell/molecular biology or immunology (essential)
  • Experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics or transcription factor biology is desirable (training available)
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and critical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to scientific research and/or publications
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, teamwork mentality, and ability to manage time independently

Job Description

  • Conduct research on synthesis and characterization of molecules, perform cell-based assays, and analyze proteomics samples
  • Actively participate in lab meetings, departmental discussions, and conferences
  • Contribute to the writing of manuscripts, grant applications, and support the supervision of BSc and MSc internship projects
  • Engage in teaching duties (e.g., laboratory classes) within the department
  • Complete PhD thesis within 4 years
