Physics of Life Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow: Join the Physics of Life (PoL) Excellence Postdoctoral Fellows Program, an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment aiming to unveil the fundamental physical principles underlying the spatiotemporal organization of living matter across scales.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • An outstanding early career researcher with an excellent scientific track record
  • Hold a PhD in Physics, Biology, or related fields
  • Novelty of the proposed research project with fit to the scientific aims of PoL

Job Description:
As a Physics of Life Excellence Postdoctoral Fellow, you will:

  • Be covered for a 3-year position with an optional one-year extension
  • Direct research projects independently, benefiting from scientific mentorship and supervision
  • Access state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including funding for research costs, travel, and open access
  • Collaborate with New PoL Groups and additional PoL Group or Affiliate/Associate Group to perform a collaborative project
  • Engage in teaching, (co-)supervising students, applying for additional funding, and network with top biological physics and quantitative biology research groups
  • Have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program and associated with PoL groups
