Job Description: The Plant Molecular Biologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to study the regulation of protein abundance in plants. The initial phase of the project involves growing and harvesting the Arabidopsis MAGIC population for analysis using RNA-seq and quantitative proteomics. The post holder will collaborate with bioinformatics scientists and researchers to generate and analyze multi-omic data. In the second phase, the post holder will explore and validate selected leads arising from protein and expression QTL analysis and multi-omic data sets. The role offers the opportunity to drive the direction of research and contribute to the development of new projects.
