  • Outstanding early career researcher with an excellent scientific track record
  • Novelty of the proposed research project with fit to the scientific aims of PoL
  • Hold a PhD in Physics, Biology, or related fields

Job Description:
The Excellence Postdoctoral Fellows will choose one PoL Core Group and one additional PoL Core or Affiliate/Associate Group as host groups to perform a collaborative project. Fellows will benefit from the wide range of expertise in Biological Physics, Quantitative Biology, and Computer Science in Dresden. Designing and executing research projects independently, supervision and mentoring from two PoL PIs, access to state-of-the-art facilities, opportunities to teach, (co-)supervise students, and apply for additional funding are key components of this role.
