Job Description
You will work within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary group of junior and senior scientists. The primary focus of this position is investigating the role of Negr1 in brain disorders, including models of autism spectrum disorders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform behavioral experiments in models of brain disorders.
- Perform cell biology experiments ex-vivo in models of brain disorders.
- Work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a highly interdisciplinary environment.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- A PhD in Neuroscience, neurodevelopment, or closely related disciplines.
- Documented, hands-on experience in behavioral and cell biology activities.
- A strong publication record.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Technical experience in molecular biology.
- Prior knowledge of the biology of Negr1.
- Strong analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging and international environment.
