Research Area

Sustainable Polymer Synthesis: Focused on the design and synthesis of sustainable polymer materials utilizing green methods for the circular economy.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Skills in organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, and chemical characterization.
  • Interest in the material characterization (DSC, TGA, DMA, rheology).
  • Strong interest in investigating structure-property relationships of synthesized polymers.

Job Description

The post-doctoral position involves:

  • Chemical modification of starch using green methods.
  • Preparing starch derivatives for various applications, including seed coatings, packaging, and biomedical 3D printing.
  • Collaborating with public and private partners and exchanging samples for application testing.
  • Assisting in project management tasks.
  • Contributing to scientific publications and developing ready-to-market products based on project insights.
