- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or Chemical Biology obtained within the last 2 years.
- Strong knowledge and experience in organic chemistry.
- High motivation and interest in projects at the chemistry-biology interface.
Job Description:
- Project Focus: RNA represents a promising therapeutic target for innovative drug discovery. This project aims to develop novel RNA ligands with properties that enable RNA degradation or covalent modification.
- Approach: Utilize strategies like RIBOTAC (similar to PROTACS) and introduce chemical motifs for covalent RNA binding.
- Evaluation: Assess the bioactive molecules for affinity, selectivity, and activity on various RNA targets in vitro and at the cellular level through biological collaborations.
- Outcome: Design and synthesize optimized compounds for potential therapeutic applications.
