Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or Chemical Biology (obtained within the last 2 years)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in organic chemistry
  • High motivation and interest in projects at the chemistry-biology interface

Job Description:
The successful candidate will join a collaborative project between Université Côte d’Azur and Sanofi, under the supervision of Dr. Maria Duca. The project aims to develop novel RNA ligands capable of targeting RNA for degradation or covalent modification. Key tasks include:

  • Designing and synthesizing new RNA ligands
  • Evaluating these molecules for their affinity, selectivity, and activity on various RNA targets
  • Conducting in vitro and cellular level experiments in collaboration with biologists
  • Optimizing compounds for potential therapeutic applications
