Post-Doc in Numerical Modeling: The Computational Nanoplasmonics Research line at the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies in Arnesano, Italy is hiring 2 Postdoctoral positions in the area of “integrated photonics and plasmonics” related to the Horizon Europe EIC PATHFINDER project NEHO. The main objective of the project is to develop nonlinear plasmonic implementation of an artificial neural network based on the use of heavily doped semiconductors at mid-IR frequencies.

Candidates with a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electromagnetism, Photonics, and similar disciplines with experience in numerical simulations of electromagnetic systems, strong publication record, and good command in spoken and written English are encouraged to apply.
Post-Doc in Numerical Modeling of Heavily Doped Semiconductor Plasmonics
The selected candidates will be working on developing computational models and numerically investigating complex electromagnetic systems related to the project. They will be integrated in a highly interdisciplinary environment in a young and highly motivated research group, working in state-of-the-art facilities.
